Las Vegas Vacation Deals Grow as Casinos Try to Attract Tourists

Las Vegas casinos and hotels are offering new discounts and packages to encourage more people to visit the city. After Las Vegas tourism dropped 7.5% in 2025, resorts have been looking for ways to make trips more affordable and attract visitors back. International travel to the United States has also remained lower in 2026, adding more pressure on tourism destinations such as Las Vegas.

For visitors, this has created an opportunity to find discounted hotel rooms, dining credits, free parking, and all-inclusive packages.

Hotels Are Offering Bigger Discounts

Several Las Vegas resorts are lowering room prices or adding extra benefits. Current offers promoted by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority include discounts of 20% to 40% at some properties.

For example, Circus Circus is advertising up to 40% off standard rooms. Westgate Las Vegas has an offer with up to 30% off room rates plus a $75 daily dining credit. The Cosmopolitan is offering up to 20% off room rates.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas also has a promotion offering rewards members up to 35% off their stay plus a $50 daily resort credit. Non-members can receive up to 20% off. The offer can be booked through September 30 for stays through December 29, 2026.

All-Inclusive Las Vegas Packages Are Growing

Some casinos are trying something different by offering packages that include more than just a hotel room.

Luxor and Excalibur have promoted an all-inclusive package for two people for about $330 that includes meals and entertainment. These types of packages make it easier for travelers to know how much their Las Vegas vacation will cost before they arrive.

Flamingo has also promoted a $150 inclusive package with daily meals, drinks, and other benefits, while Planet Hollywood has advertised a $300 package that includes a two-night stay and $200 in dining credit.

Some Resorts Are Cutting Resort Fees

Resort fees have become one of the biggest complaints among Las Vegas visitors, so some hotels are using reduced or waived fees to attract guests.

SAHARA Las Vegas is advertising all-in rates starting at $89 that include no resort fees, daily breakfast, late checkout, and free parking. The offer is available for select stays through December 30, 2026.

Downtown, the Plaza Hotel & Casino has also offered packages with waived resort fees and free parking. Its Viva ’26 package includes up to 26% off room rates, a $26 dining credit and free parking.

Las Vegas Wants Canadian Tourists Back

Canadian travelers have traditionally been an important part of Las Vegas tourism. However, Canadian visitation dropped sharply in 2025.

Las Vegas resorts and tourism officials have responded with special promotions aimed at bringing those travelers back. Downtown casinos, including Circa, the D and Golden Gate offered a “Vegas At Par” promotion that gave Canadian visitors a much better exchange rate on certain purchases. Other travel companies have offered discounted Las Vegas hotel and flight packages for Canadian travelers.

The effort shows how seriously Las Vegas is taking the slowdown in tourism.

What the Deals Could Mean for Las Vegas Real Estate

Tourism is a major part of the Las Vegas economy. Hotels, casinos, restaurants, entertainment venues, and other businesses depend on millions of visitors coming to the city every year.

When tourism slows, the effects can reach beyond the Strip. Jobs, local spending, rental demand, and the overall economy can all be affected.

The growing number of hotel discounts and vacation packages shows that Las Vegas businesses are working aggressively to keep visitors coming. For tourists, that could mean better Las Vegas deals. For homeowners, investors and people considering Las Vegas real estate, the recovery of the tourism industry will be an important trend to watch through the rest of 2026 and into 2027.

Las Vegas has faced tourism slowdowns before and has repeatedly found new ways to attract visitors. This time, lower hotel prices, dining credits, free parking, and all-inclusive packages are some of the tools casinos are using to bring travelers back.
